My rental documents are missing, what should I do?

As a tenant, you are fully responsible for your rent payments under your rental agreement. The terms of payment are set out in your rental agreement.

If you, as a tenant, have lost or are missing your rental notices, it is important that you contact Newsec well in advance at hyresadmin.slatto@newsec.se or 019-500 01 10 to avoid any collection demands or additional costs. We do not apply payment reminders.

Can I pay my rent by direct debit and how?

For most of our bank giro accounts, there is Autogiro connected to Newsec, which handles our financial management. See below for instructions on how to do this.

  1. Go to your online bank to apply for a Direct Debit mandate
  2. Search for "Slättö", select the bankgirot that you have on your rental notices
  3. Fill in the required information and approve the application at your bank
  4. Of course!

When applying for Autogiro during an ongoing quarter, the first draw will be able to take place from the next quarter's monthly rent.

How do I get my rental notices?

Newsec sends out the rental notices to you as a tenant on behalf of Slättö. Below you will find the various options currently available for receiving rental notices/invoices.

  • E-invoice (however, not available for all bank giros, if you do not find the right bank giro on your internet bank when you search for "Slättö", contact Newsec at hyresadmin.slatto@newsec.se alternatively 019-500 01 10).
  • PDF invoice to your email address (provided your email address is in our systems)
  • By post (to your home address)
