When you receive a termination confirmation from us, it will state how a preliminary and final inspection is booked. It is our local operating partners who perform these and book an appointment with you as a tenant, usually a pre-inspection takes place within one month of your termination, and a final inspection on your moving out day. To ensure that nothing is broken or that abnormal wear and tear has occurred, we always carry out preliminary and final inspections for terminated leases. We also do this primarily so that you as a tenant can get an early indication at the pre-inspection if there is anything you need to fix in order not to be liable for repayment after moving out.
